It was five days away from home and that separation always seems to throw me off.  I enjoy my time away because I get to take pictures and have a different experience, but when I get back it's always stressful for me: laundry, grocery shopping, getting ready for the work week, etc.  And I'm exhausted too.  I don't know if that is because I'm still recovering from that darn chemo or I'm just old and things are different in general.  I don't recover the same.  I'm so TIRED...and probably from all of that driving.  But it's still good to get away and to have memory photos like the one above.  It was such a beautiful day.

We are at the opening of Michael Moore's documentary, SICKO.  Waiting in line bored...

I need your help!  Which of the two do you like best?  This is a magazine ad promoting my book during breast cancer awareness month.  The final version is due by July 11th and it's going in a very hip magazine called PLANET.  My friend Danny designed it for me and I completely trust his design aesthetic and love each one for different reasons.  WHICH ONE DO YOU LIKE BEST??  HELP ME OUT ON THIS ONE!!!

This is Phoebe's FIRST day at Dog Beach.  It is also her first experience in ocean water.  She was brave and wonderful and played with lots of dogs.  She did a fine job with Alantis as her Muse, the siren ringing loud even I could hear the distant longing of a lonely sea god crying out for more....

 
OUCH!  Talk about a rough tumble. After spinning class this morning we finish the class with a stretching routine.  We put our legs on the handle bars and stretch much like using a ballet bar.  Because I wear cycling shoes to my spinning class, coupled with the Pergo...my foot came right out underneath me during these stretches.  I slammed down so quickly.  My thigh hit the pedal, my ass smacked into the metal structure frame holding the bike and my head hit the ground.  This bruise on my thigh is the size of my hand, at least my hand covers it.  Nice....  Thanks to John and iSight technology, He took these pics of me live right while we were chatting!

UPDATE: I THINK I HAVE TO GO TO EMERGENCY HOSPITAL FIRST THING IN THE AM.  I am feeling rather sick to my stomach and my ass is killing me.  I will keep you updated.  but for now...I'm going to bed!!!
