My iPhone broke yesterday. Just out of the clear sky on any average wednesday. I could hear my calls over my earbud, and I could hear/talk on speaker phone, but when I wanted to talk the old-fashioned way, up to my ear, NO GO! My caller could not hear me and I could not hear them. One quick phone call to Apple and after a short five minute conversation Apple made an appointment for me that evening and they replaced my phone! And wouldn't you know but the signal is better! I'm so happy! thanks, Apple!

results: after initial hesitation by test subject, surprisingly positive.
despite thai/asian influence, subject said effect was akin to that of eating
seafood by the shore on poorly erected stands on a mexican beach.
subject suggested it was a bit like biting into a flatbread/nan taco thing.
experiment was deemed a moderate success. a second test is planned.

The seduction of this toy is the fact it can "oink" not once, but three times consecutively, and is small enough for her to carry. Punk's new valentine's toy that is nearly torn to pieces. Tail and ear gone. I suspect the other ear will go soon as well.

ArtPower, UCSD, and Alex Ruiz Euler, a UCSD political scientist graduate student, are jointing forces to "BLOG" about the process of making a documentary film.  The fundamental idea behind this documentary is to present the humanness of illegal immigrant workers in the U.S. by showing the audiences how some of them lived in Mexico, how their families live, the internal family dynamic that implodes with migration and, finally, a piece of the migrant’s live in the U.S.
