seriously? I will have to check this out. I've got this "issue" "G" - I am a breast cancer survivor and I have to take this drug called Tamoxifen that FUCKS with your body. I basically have no estrogen like normal women. So I have to create a metabolism for myself. I've been researching all sorts of stuff. As a former ballet performer, the gym is a freak show to me. BUT in order to be healthy I have to lift weights to create a metabolism and then I have to do cardio for at least 30-45 minutes 5x a week. Studies show that women who put in at least 3 miles 5x a week reduce their chances of recurrence by major amounts. 96% of all women who did this lived at least 10 years without an episode. The study did not show women beyond 10 years, but SHIT, you know those are amazing statistics.

apparently the theory is, or proof I should say, that when a woman works out it lowers your estrogen levels, and prolonged cardio supports that decrease in estrogen.

My cancer was estrogen positive by the way. It was started by estrogen, the most common kind of breast cancer.

I'm all into the weights though. My arms are looking hot and I'm looking super fit. But my main motivation is survival and quality of life. I aim to be a long term survivor and I have to do what I have to do.

I am SO APPRECIATIVE of your suggestion and I will most definitely check out Pete. Any other links or suggestions are always welcome.

Yes seriously, the man is a genius in his field. Simple, interesting and TRUE. You know how so much stuff nowadays is scientific-aspartame. Content free expressions. Well Sisco's stuff is simple and honest and it works.

As for your issue. I only just found out about it by reading your photostory. I actually looked at only 3 pictures (and please don't judge me. I am a male whore but not in the way you might think at first) the two of your breasts (before/after) and the one with you with a tiara.

I am ignorant of estrogen positive cancer but not of cancer as a whole. I trained as a hypnotherapist and have had 2 patients with it so far. Both have gone into full remissions although you cannot say it is due to the hypnosis alone. But you can't say it isn't either. Anyway I read you are in London from Sep 5th. Let's meet up and I can tell you more about it.

As for me...I trained in some sport or other most of my life. Martial arts mostly. Karate then systema. We are designed to MOVE. And we should. A lot more than we do. I dunno about being an athlete but I certainly have more energy than most people I have met in my life.

I think you doing cardio is fundamental. I also think the way you think unconsciously is pivotal. And hypnosis is the king of how to change that really.

There are only three ways I know (conscious ways I mean):

1. A regime of training in something...usually physical to a level of mastery that is within the top 0.01% of the world's population and top 1% of practitioners of it. Examples might be yoga, martial arts, meditation etc.

2. Controlled LSD trip under clinical conditions with trained operatives (illegal in most of the world now)

3. Deep hypnosis.

Hypnosis is also the most flexible and I think fastest too.

WOW. that's really amazing. LSD? Hypnosis. I am so into alternative methods. I am always head-tripping on myself when it comes to survivorship. At first it was all about SURVIVING - then when the treatment is over and you are clean no one tells you how to move on. Not that I was depressed but surely there isn't too much in the way of intellectual, spiritual advice about what it means to be standing on the edge of your life and what does it mean to move forward? It's a total mind-fuck for sure. they say, "move on girl, take your tamoxifen and starve youself cause you are going to get fat now." what kind of stupid advice is that?
